OLD ROCKING CHAIR

The maple rocking chair is from the EMERALD HOUSE THRIFT SHOP on Davisville Road in East Falmouth,Massachusetts near our Cape Cod house. The pillow is from our old house in Sag Harbor,NY.  The painting of a scene along the. Bronx River Parkway in White Plains,NY is my cousin,Roberta Ann Girling.
.                                                                       The dark wooden table with a marble top is my Mother's from the 1940's.  The Franklin Lloyd Wright Art Deco lamp is a reproduction that belonged to my Mother-in-law.
The candy dish is Lalique and belonged to my Aunt Edith.  The lighthouse picture was purchased at a yard sale and says:
"The light of love reflects in the joyous heart."
The wooden cat which actually opens into a Shaker Basket was purchased at the annual crafts fair in Manchester,Vermont.  The bowl of pot pourri at the foot of the table was made by my niece Emily McDowell.
Our Cape Cod Cottage is located near Bournes Pond which extends 2.5 miles as an estuary into Vineyard Sound through Menauhant Beach in East Falmouth,MA.  This picture shows part of our livingroom.
