There was a crooked man who walked a crooked mile. That's how the nursery rhyme goes. I saw him trying to cross the street yesterday in Falmouth
. The Crooked Man was on his way to Friendlys or Starbucks. All the traffic stopped as he crossed the street. It took a long time for him to get across. I figured he might be hit even though he was in the crosswalk. Perhaps he wished it too.
It took tremendous effort for him to cross the street on his crutches. I know healthy people who won't try that hard. They drive around the parking lot wasting gas looking for the closest parking place near the entrance.
The Lord works in mysterious ways.
